Intensive CranioSacral Programmes started in the United States in the 1990s. They are now run by the Upledger Foundation USA for various groups; they are unique, multidisciplinary one or two week treatment programmes designed to focus on particular issues such as autistic spectrum disorder, brain and spinal cord injuries, learning disabilities, post traumatic stress disorder and post concussion disorder. These programmes follow the Upledger Institute philosophy of mind-body-spirit approach to address the health care needs within a specific community.

Myself and my co founding director, Caroline Barrow, believed it was time to offer these programmes here in the UK and established a social enterprise to offer funded places for clients looking for this type of intensive CST treatment. We have currently run 3 such programmes for police officers suffering with post traumatic stress disorder in collaboration with a police charity and have plans for further ventures.
